Across the Suzuki community the respect that Sue commands is truly well deserved. She is always in great demand as a teacher on many Suzuki workshops throughout the UK and all over Europe. Her enthusiasm for teaching is limitless and she is able to combine a sense of fun with her quest for perfect technique and musicality in the performances of all of her students. It are those very skills which make her incredibly popular as a trainer of Suzuki Teachers across the UK, ensuring the next generation of Suzuki Teachers are also highly trained to advance the skills of their young students.
The TeacherSue has been a Suzuki teacher for a number of years, having taught in London, Bristol and now in Wales. Her desire to create a shared experience amongst her pupils means that she manages to create a Suzuki family, ensuring that each child supports the others and also where parents can come together to support each other when guiding children through their musical journey together.

The PerformerHer ability to play at the very highest level means that Sue is in regular demand as a performer. She has an enviable ability to switch her piano skills and techniques between that of the concert pianist, jazz improviser, accompanist, even able to tackle the intricacies of world music meaning that she performs regularly at many events of all genres across South Wales and beyond.

The PersonNow living in Ebbw Vale, Sue enjoys spending time outdoors with husband Donald and daughters Charlotte and Hannah walking her dogs through the rugged and beautiful landscape of the Welsh Valleys. She enjoys gardening and is often found tackling and taming the hillside at her home as well as enjoying the breathtakingly stunning view with a glass of wine at the end of a busy day.
